Inspiring the next generation with the possibilities and relevance of visual storytelling

Dedicated to promoting the craft of visual storytelling, increasing equity and access to careers in the industry.

We support the continual development of the Society for News Design in supporting students and young professionals to become leaders, promoting and facilitating design and visual storytelling practices of accessibility, and creating a standard of inclusive design.

The Foundation aims to inspire the next generation with the possibilities and relevance of visual storytelling. We underscore the ethical responsibilities of those who practice the craft and its power to influence.

The Society for News Design (SND) Foundation support the next generation of visual storytelling by increasing access to print, digital design, and product development and creating opportunities for emerging thought leaders. We help creative minds discover talents, learn new skills, and prepare for a career in visual storytelling and design.

The Foundation also supports SND which is an international organization for news media professionals and visual communicators who create print, web, and mobile publications and products. SND members art direct, design, edit, report, illustrate, make photos and video, visualize data and write code.
